USF Core Values
This semester, I transfered from Miami University which is in Ohio. I know the lift of the university is a little bit weird. Its called Miami University, but not in the Florida. Well, its not the point. The thing I indispensability to talk is that the huge different feeling I necessitate experience at USF. I have been told lots of generation how diverse the city of San Francisco is, but I didnt search the campus here is also filled with students from the large range of backgrounds. My preceding school -- Miami University is a typically america university, plenty of duster students, people speaking with similar accent, even to a greater extent, the cloths people vesture like they all shopped at the same store. Im not saying its bad, actually its jolly good for me to learn a different culture. But sometimes its just feel not right that existence an international student to live at such environment. At the time I first stepped in the campus of the University of San Francisco, I was unfeignedly shocked. It was way more vivid than I could even imagine. I axiom students with different skin colors; I saw they were all wearing stylish and fashionable cloths; more better, a lot of students from different country, for example, I knew a student who is from Norway. That was literally my first time met a person from Norway.



As maven of the USF core values said: diversity of perspectives, experiences and traditions as subjective components of a quality education in our global context, I guess this is the way that USF presents us its understanding of the diversity.
I consider diversity is a very important thing. With the integration of area economy and globalization of competition, students are supposed to learn more and know more about the different culture. Like me, I came to United Stated, because I think English is an acquired language.
