While majority of white Americans did non pursue play off rights for African Americans in the 1950s and 60s, African Americans aimed to improve better conditions for themselves and to acquire lucifer right since they were ill-treated and often discriminated for mostly everything. It was not until the 1950s and 60s, where they rose and took crack of the most influence civil right thrust of only of history. Through many organizations like The Black Panthers, SNCC, stack maxim that conditions for African Americans needed to improve so that they could be equal as them. Though it was not easy to improve conditions for African American, they were met with violence and resistance from whites who did not want to help them procure their goal. in that locationfor for years it was a battleground for the progression of equal opportunity and to gain the respect they needed.
Many African American leader need to gain the attention of whites to help them in their goal for equal rights for themselves and others.
