I strike had 1-3 jobs at any given meter during my college career. My experience has been mostly positive.

Advantages:
* Money! It back tooth lessen the financial burden schooldays imposes on students. Over the course of my 5 years of undergrad, I saved thousands by being an RA and earned thousands by holding down other jobs and on the job(p) during summers.
* Money! Not just to lessen the financial burden, yet also to have money to go out and have a social life. During college you green goddesst just study all the snip - you would go mad. You have to balance school with work and your friends to preserve happy and motivated.
* Time management. I am a professional at keeping my schedule balanced and getting everything make on time (even if only at the last minute). Its substantially preparation for life after college.
* Experience. Working in a force field related to your area of study enriches your learning experience. You contrive work experience in your career track and that can make getting a job after school easier. You can also build up connections within the field if you work for the right people.
* Friends. It was nice to meet people by work and not just through classes and my other friends. It gives a depth to your social life that you cant really find elsewhere.
* Time. I get bored if Im not doing a few things at once.



Just class and homework isnt enough for me to occupy my time (even though I averaged 16 credits per quarter).

Disadvantages:
* Time. I go this is an advantage too, but when midterms and finals hit and you have work it can really suck. The last thing you motivation to do is work. However, is dumb forces you to keep on a schedule for studying and is a good thing in the end.
* Not Good Experience. A messiness of jobs students take wont help them in their future careers - unless theyre divergence to college to serve food and answer phones for the rest of their lives.
