Personal Reflection and Purpose Dawn L. Coffinberry University of Phoenix 2/17/2010 I began my schooling in 1993, going for my Associates spot in post administration. I deprivationed to work in an office environment. This does not seem like a hard caper to complete simply it was not so simple for me. allow me explain, when I was an infant, only 18 months of age, my older br opposite (by twain years) threw me shoot down a flight of stairs not once but several times. The last time he threw me down the stairs, I endured a massive head injury, which left a quarter of my brain-dead and induced a massive stroke. I was in a coma for two weeks and when I came away of it, I was completely paralyzed and within couple of weeks, I gained the habituate of my right side. In my childhood, I was segregated from all the other children put in schools for the handicapped and taught at only 4th grade level for years so to accomplish my Associates degree or achieve any of my other degrees was not an tardily task. For years, I thought that because of my disability I could not do anything, working as janitor because I knew it did not take brains to clean. accordingly in 1992, some friends of mine who worked on computers informed me that in that respect was technology out there that would enable me to use computers.

I was hungry to learn about the different technology out there. I was then fortunate to have a proponent from the Department of vocational rehabilitation see something in me that no one else did and had the department paid for my schooling, school supplies and childcare so that I could receive my Associates degree. I landed a stain with labor and industries full-time and permanent, August 1999, as an office jock yet I wanted more from life, decided to go back to school, and received my bachelors degree in business.
