The basic ideas of goop weber, Karl Marx and Emile Durkheim are alike because they were all considered to be the three principal architects of modern social science. (Calhoun, Wikipedia) Max weber and Karl Marx were both German while Emile Durkheim was French. Their lives overlapped in time as Karl Marx was the first one to be innate(p) while Emile Durkheim was born in 1858 and Max Weber born in 1864. By the time Karl Marx had died, Emile Durkheim was 25 years old and Max Weber a mere 19 years old. It is clear that the establish of Karl Marx came before the work of both Emile Durkheim and Max Weber and Marxs work could have influenced them. Also both Karl Marx and Emile Durkheim came from Jewish family backgrounds, Max Weber came from a Christian Protestant background. All of them had elicit and somewhat similar yet differing thoughts on religion in society and its influences.
Karl Marx, who was the co-founder of Marxism and the author of the Communist Manifesto, believed that politics, economics and society were products of the tell apart struggle. He ultimately believed that capitalism was the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie in which those in power (the wealthy) ran the society to their own benefit.
