Moral Issues In Lifeboat

Lifeboat is a film from 1944 directed by Alfred Hitchcock ab break through a group of people who survived a German U-boat violate during WWII in the Atlantic Ocean and are now stuck on a life sentenceboat. Each one of the survivors is from a different life style and it is very interesting to watch how they deal with problems and guide together to continue to survive. They are go round with a minute of decisions in different situations that will push them to their limits and test their moral philosophy and morals.
One of the first issues that will come up patch watching the film is also one of the biggest in the totally movie. Someone grabs onto the lifeboat as they are drifting through rubble in the piss. They pull the man onboard only to find out it is a German Nazi and not evening full a Nazi, he was the captain of the U-boat that sank the civilian transport that they were just on. You find out his name is Willie. The question is asked if Willie should even be allowed to stay on the lifeboat, John a actor on the ship thinks that Willie should be left in the water to die for bombing their ship. Rhitt another survivor says something along the lines of that because he is the highest power there that he has a right to know that Willie is treated like a prisoner of war and not murdered.



A majority on the lifeboat vote to let him make out because it is not up for them to punish him. Some people whitethorn question this later in the movie.
Another issue faced in the movie is one of the survivors pulled from the water is a two-year-old lady with a small infant, which is hers. Unfortunately the child has passed absent and the young lady is devastated and tries to jump off the lifeboat. Just about everyone on the lifeboat doesnt agree with this, the feel they cant let this lady do this to herself. So they tried to splice her to a seat so that she can possibly know that her life can still go on and this is not what should happen.
