Playoofs In College Football

Its a great time of year to be a football rooter. The NFL executeoffs are starting and everyone cant wait to watch the both arena games. Wait. There are actually 35 bowl games. Its just that community only choose to watch or attend two or three games: The National Championship, the Rose Bowl, and possibly the bowl game that their mediocre 6-6 local team somehow managed to blend into. Why? Because of tradition, custom, and some NCAA bigwigs who want it that way. This could all be changed, with returns for the entire division 1 system, by adding an eight or sixteen team playoff system, comparable to the NFLs.

Im a pretty big college fan. I watched almost every LSU and UW football game this year, but I found that I could superintend less about 90% of the bowl games. A substantially option would be to simply hold a playoff series, in the same locations and with the same sponsors that are already used in the current system.
