Virginia Woolf expresses her idea of society in her novel, Mrs. Dalloway, that society is changing idea, whether that deepen is from location, an event, or just over time. People move by some changes without really any thought. Often they do not realize how much pressure society places on an psyche life, as evident in our ragings today with the rising felo-de-se rate from cyber bullying as an example. It is the basis of how a soulfulness forms their opinions, beliefs, and morals. The structure of behavior is based on the society a person is raised in. Woolf views society as a centralize for conflict for the characters in Mrs. Dalloway. They struggle with the internal conflict of whether they should be who they want to be or what everyone else wants them to be. In the novel Mrs. Dalloway, Virginia Woolf uses bourgeon of consciousness to demonstrate the pressures and effects of society on divergent characters in the 1920s. Using Clarissa Dalloway and Septimus Smith, Woolf reveals how two different levels of society, the upper divide and the middle class, can have very similar pressures and invoke very similar effects on the people who live in them.
Septimus Smith is presented as a dynamic character.



He is shown as a once idealistic poet who crosses over into a world where his thoughts focus solely on the injustices of humanity.
